Iron Joy Accomodation Layout
For those of you who have sailed with us before, welcome back! If this is your first encounter with us, welcome aboard!
Iron Joy is a 24m Offshore Charter Vessel available for many different charters, accommodating and catering for up to 22 passengers, trips range from a min. of 7 nights to extended trips.
Her large fuel and water capacities make her ideal for extended voyages. The following information has been designed to answer most questions that you may have regarding charters on board the 'Iron Joy'.

What to Bring
For fishing charters, you should supply your own rods, reels, tackle, knife, dehooker etc.

A small esky comes in handy in the dinghy to carry any refreshments with you & keep them cool. Most importantly a good hat, sunscreen, spray jacket, and sunproof clothing (long sleeve shirts / pants) are recommended.
The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority is responsible for managing the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park so it's protected for the future.

Cabin Layout
All cabins have a flat screen TV with In-house Movie and Music Channels.
On Board Satellite TV.
All cabins on the lower deck have ensuites and king single bunks.

CHARTERS - What is included?
All meals and linen are provided, along with the services of the deckhands. They will not only clean and process your catch they will try and make your stay with us as enjoyable as it possibly can be.
Extra's?
Alcohol, Bait and Soft Drink are all extras and can be supplied upon request. If you would like a pricelist, please don't hesitate to ask.
*Drink orders and special dietary needs are required at least two weeks prior to departure.
Departures & Returns
The vessel usually departs from O'Connell Wharf located on Flinders Parade near the Yacht Club. Between 4-5pm for Swain Reefs Charters and 1-2pm for Coral Sea Trips.
The vessel usually returns to port between 5-6 am unless requested otherwise for early flights etc.
Departure times from the reef are determined by the area in which you are fishing, i.e. if you are fishing further north, you will depart the reef earlier in the afternoon to return to port in the necessary time.

Swain Reefs is a national park in North Queensland, Australia, 703 km north of Brisbane. Established in 1995, it covers an area of 0.58 km² and is managed by the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service.
